Details of the Job/Internship
Haptik is hiring a Senior Executive – Legal with 2–2.5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, MOUs, and cross-border technology contracts.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on operational matters.
- Advise and negotiate with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Support data protection, privacy, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA.
- Guide on IP matters including trademark and copyright.
- Ensure regulatory compliance including cybersecurity and data protection laws.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on evolving regulations.
- Collaborate across departments to minimize legal risks and ensure adherence to policies.
Eligibility
- 2–2.5 years of legal experience, preferably in the technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of data protection and privacy laws.
- Familiarity with intellectual property regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exposure to corporate governance is an advantage.
