Details of the Job/Internship

Sun Pharma is hiring a Senior Executive / Manager with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all assigned legal functional responsibilities for the corporate and compliance team.
• Advise business teams on intricate legal, pharma-specific regulatory, and liability matters.
• Draft, review, and vet a wide array of contracts, including M&A, Business Development, R&D, and Supply Chain agreements.
• Negotiate and close various commercial documents necessary for the execution of global transactions.
• Support the entire lifecycle of corporate development activities, including acquisitions, investments, divestments, and in/out-licensing.
• Lead legal due diligence for target evaluations and collaborate with global teams to achieve optimal transaction outcomes.
• Provide expert legal advice to various support functions and contribute to the development of corporate policies.
• Streamline legal processes and coordinate training and development initiatives for both legal and business teams.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or highly regulated sectors.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and M&A documentation.
• Strong understanding of pharma-legal regulations and global compliance standards.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal due diligence and manage cross-border legal projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
