Details of the Job/Internship

Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) is hiring for the position of Senior Executive- Contract Management with 2-5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and issue purchase/sale contracts in the system based on trader deal confirmations.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in contract terms, including Incoterms, Payment Terms, and ESCC (European Standard Coffee Contract) clauses.
• Perform compliance checks and verify internal approvals before releasing contracts for digital signature.
• Track countersigned contracts and verify third-party contract terms against internal records.
• Archive all contracts and deal confirmations in the designated contract management system.
• Ensure timely cost calculations and entry of cost accruals in the system aligned with contract Incoterms.
• Manage intercompany contracts, including inter-profit accounts, certificates, and buybacks.
• Process contract amendments, including rollback of executed trades and coordination with relevant departments.
• Assist in contract allocation processes related to shipments and spot trades.
• Collaborate with Accounts, Clearing, Inventory, and Execution teams for smooth contract flows.
• Gain end-to-end understanding of trading operations and implications for legal, accounting, and IT processes.
• Maintain basic understanding of futures and pricing mechanisms in commodity contracts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in international trade operations or commodity trading support.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, documentation, and execution processes.
• Familiarity with commodity contracts and pricing, especially in the coffee sector, is an advantage.
