Details of the Job/Internship

Plintron is hiring for the position of Senior Executive- Legal with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review a wide range of contracts including domestic/international business agreements, service provider and procurement contracts, NDAs, MoUs, franchise agreements, and lease deeds.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and operational risks across contractual and business operations.
• Advise on legal issues related to data protection (e.g., GDPR), employment law, IT laws, and telecom-specific regulations.
• Support Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) work involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, and domain names.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external legal counsel—both in India and overseas.
• Assist in arbitration/litigation matters and maintain legal documentation.
• Manage the legal contract repository and ensure contract lifecycle tracking using contract management tools.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions or policy documentation.
• Identify and coordinate with suitable law firms across jurisdictions for international business support.
• Perform other day-to-day legal operations including invoice clearance, maintaining contract registers, and tracking legal updates.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
• Strong contract drafting and legal review skills.
• Working knowledge of data protection regulations, IPR, and technology law.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and legal research skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally within the telecom or IT sectors.
