Details of the Job/Internship

Assystem is seeking a Legal Senior Executive with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in infrastructure law and contractual advisory.

Role and Responsibilities

• Vet and advise on tender and bidding documents for infrastructure projects (Govt. and private).
• Draft and review contracts including joint ventures, MoUs, NDAs, settlement deeds, etc.
• Prepare legal opinions, internal notes, and updates on applicable laws and contractual risks.
• Draft pleadings, responses to legal notices, statutory applications, and RTIs.
• Represent the company in civil and contractual disputes across courts and tribunals.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and support litigation strategy.
• Draft powers of attorney and legal correspondence with stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Monitor compliance with Indian laws and internal Assystem Group policies.
• Train project managers on compliance, contractual obligations, and risk issues.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized institution.
• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience (law firm experience preferred).
• Background in infrastructure sector legal matters.
• Proficiency in managing legal workloads independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, research-oriented, and solution-focused.
