Details of the Job/Internship
PPL India. is hiring a Sr. Executive – Legal with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and licensing contracts.
- Ensure organizational adherence to corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Provide robust support for litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and coordinating with external counsels.
- Analyze legal risks associated with licensing operations and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Manage and track the status of ongoing legal cases through a structured MIS.
- Liaison with statutory authorities and internal stakeholders regarding legal queries.
- Update senior management on critical legal developments and case timelines.
Eligibility
- LLB degree is mandatory; LLM is a plus.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in contracts, compliance, and litigation support.
- Strong understanding of the Copyright Act and corporate legal procedures.
- Proven track record in drafting and reviewing high-stakes commercial documents.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
