Details of the Job/Internship
STAGE is hiring a Company Secretary & Legal professional to support its legal, compliance, and governance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting content production agreements, artist contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
- Maintain contract repositories, trackers, and ensure timely renewals and closures.
- Support copyright review, usage rights management, infringement issues, and takedown coordination.
- Handle coordination for litigation matters, regulatory notices, and external counsel.
- Support due diligence documentation, investor requests, and data room maintenance.
- Assist with company secretarial work including board agendas, notices, minutes, resolutions, and statutory registers.
- Execute MCA filings, ROC compliance, event-based filings, and ESOP documentation.
- Track regulatory updates related to OTT regulations, IT Rules, Companies Act, MCA, RBI, and GST.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and legal drafting.
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act and MCA filing processes.
- Prior experience or internships in legal or compliance roles, preferably in media, tech, startups, or corporate law.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
