Details of the Job/Internship
Epic Company is hiring a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager with experience of 2–5 years to join their office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide array of production and distribution contracts.
- Handle rights acquisition, marketing releases, and Value Added Services (VAS) contracts.
- Review chain of title documentation and provide clearances for various scripts.
- Draft legal notices and brief external counsel for ongoing litigation matters.
- Ensure the timely filing of legal documents and maintain litigation trackers.
- Conduct detailed legal research to support the firm’s advisory and litigation needs.
Eligibility
- 2–5 years of experience in a commercial legal role, preferably in Media & Entertainment.
- Solid knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks with minimal intervention.
