Details of the Job/Internship

TrustBridge is hiring a Senior Research Fellow with a strong background in legal and policy research. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in academia, policy think tanks, or institutional research and will work on key issues in financial markets or the power sector. This role emphasizes high-impact research with real-world applications rather than academic publishing alone.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop research projects addressing contemporary economic and legal policy questions
• Design and implement research methodologies combining doctrinal and empirical analysis
• Conduct large-scale regulatory document review using technology
• Guide junior researchers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate with data scientists and analysts on empirical legal research
• Translate findings into actionable policy frameworks
•  Liaise with stakeholders including policymakers and industry experts

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Law or equivalent; OR significant legal-sector experience in finance or electricity.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in legal research, academia, or think tanks.
• Expertise in financial regulation or energy/power sector law is preferred.
• Proven experience conceptualizing and executing large-scale research projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis and empirical research tools is a plus.

Salary/Stipend
