Details of the Job/Internship

Aritra Partners is hiring a Senior Principal Associate with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to join their Transactions Advisory – Legal practice in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex M&A and PE/VC transactions with end-to-end accountability.
• Supervise and negotiate key investment documentation (SHA, SSA, SPA, etc.) for investor-ready outcomes.
• Advise early- and growth-stage companies on strategic, legal, and regulatory matters.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with founders, investors, and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers, embedding best practices and strengthening team capability.

Eligibility

• 8+ years post-qualification experience in PE/VC and corporate transactions.
• Strong expertise in company law, FDI regulations, and transaction documentation.
• Proven ability to run transactions independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong client leadership skills and strategic relationship management.
• Commitment to startups, innovation, and shaping high-growth companies.

Salary/Stipend
