Details of the Job/Internship

Mapletree Property Pvt Ltd is hiring for the position of Senior Lawyer with 12+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive title due diligence and legal searches on land/property, analyzing all related revenue documents (e.g., 7/12, 6/12, mutation entries, etc.).
• Draft and review a wide range of legal documents including Agreements, MOUs, Sale Deeds, Conveyances, Contracts, Leave and License Agreements, etc.
• Maintain and update legal documentation and records for all ongoing real estate transactions.
• Draft and file litigation documents such as Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions, and Affidavits.
• Represent the company in litigation matters and attend court proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and e.xternal stakeholders to close transactions within legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Stay current on local, state, and central real estate laws and regulations affecting the business.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or real estate development company.
• Deep understanding of property laws, revenue documents, and real estate compliance.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills with fluency in English and Marathi (written & spoken).
• Strong experience in both litigation and non-litigation real estate matters.
• Mumbai-based candidates only – applications from outstation candidates will not be considered.

Salary/Stipend

₹24 – ₹36 LPA
