Details of the Job/Internship

Kapiva is looking for candidate for the role of Senior Legal Advisor.

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Compliance:

• Ensure the companys operations and business practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the companys interests.
• Manage contract renewals and amendments.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Provide legal advice to the management team on various matters, including intellectual property, labor laws, and regulatory issues.

Litigation Management:

• Manage and oversee any litigation or dispute resolution processes involving the company.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.

Corporate Governance:

• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and support the Board of Directors in their legal obligations.
• Maintain corporate records and filings.

Legal Research:

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions.

Training and Education:

• Provide legal training and education to employees on relevant legal topics and company policies.

Eligibility

• A degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• 4-5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the FMCG or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
