Details of the Job/Internship
LegaLogic is hiring a Senior Legal Advisor – Data Privacy & Protection with over 5 years of relevant experience to join their Pune office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on privacy laws, including DPDPA, GDPR, CCPA, and related regulations.
- Develop and implement data privacy and protection frameworks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements, transfer clauses, privacy notices, and related documents.
- Lead privacy training workshops, awareness programs, and internal sessions.
- Conduct privacy assessments and audits, providing actionable compliance recommendations.
- Offer strategic legal counsel on domestic and international data protection laws.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognised institution.
- Privacy certifications such as IAPP (CIPP/E, CIPM) or DSCI preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in privacy and data protection laws.
- Expertise in reviewing and negotiating privacy agreements.
- Experience advising on GDPR, DPDPA, and other privacy regulations.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with high professional standards.
