Details of the Job/Internship
LegaLogic Consulting is hiring a Senior Legal Advisor – Data Privacy & Protection with experience of 8–10 years to join their Corporate Commercial Practice team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data privacy and protection frameworks for clients.
- Review, draft, and negotiate data processing agreements, transfer clauses, and privacy notices.
- Lead privacy training programs and client awareness sessions.
- Conduct privacy assessments/audits and provide legal recommendations.
- Advise clients on compliance with data protection laws including DPDPA and GDPR.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- 8–10 years of relevant legal experience with a strong focus on privacy and data protection laws.
- Privacy certifications such as IAPP (CIPP/E, CIPM) or DSCI certification preferred.
- Expertise in reviewing and negotiating privacy-related agreements.
- Experience advising on GDPR, DPDPA, and related frameworks.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
