Details of the Job/Internship
Sugee Group is hiring a Senior Legal Advisor with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
- Research, analyze, and interpret legal and policy issues to support decision-making.
- Oversee compliance and risk management for the organization.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Manage litigation by coordinating with external counsel and maintaining case databases.
- Conduct legal due diligence for property and real estate acquisitions.
- Prepare title certificates, issue public notices, and ensure all documentation for acquisitions is complete.
- Collaborate with business development and CRM teams for risk management and customer issue resolution.
- Process legal fee bills and settlements in coordination with the accounts department.
- Stay updated with legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience handling legal matters in corporate or litigation settings.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws, contracts, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and manage stakeholder relationships.
