Details of the Job/Internship

Alphastream.ai is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Human-in-the-Loop Oversight

• Lead reviewer of AI-extracted data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
• Verify outputs from LPAs, side letters, and related agreements against source materials.
• Train and mentor junior team members while maintaining strong quality controls.

2. Subject Matter Expertise

• Apply knowledge of alternative investment funds, LPAs, and side letters to identify key provisions for compliance, reporting, and operational needs.
• Provide expert insights to product, R&D, and operations teams on contract structures, obligations, and fund requirements.

3. Quality Assurance & Data Validation

• Develop and implement quality control protocols and validation checklists.
• Document anomalies, validate corrections, and ensure extracted data meets accuracy benchmarks.

4. Feedback & Iterative Improvement

• Collaborate with AI developers and product teams by sharing findings, error patterns, and process insights.
• Support machine learning model enhancement by supplying annotated examples and detailed feedback.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of QA reviews, annotations, and feedback to the system.
• Prepare reports on performance trends, recurring errors, and recommended improvements.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with legal operations, data science, product, and technology teams to align outputs with legal and operational standards.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in the AIF industry.

Eligibility

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or paralegal role with demonstrable exposure to alternative investment funds.
• Strong background working with fund-level documents such as LPAs, side letters, and related agreements.
• Prior experience in a legal-tech or AI-driven environment is an advantage (not mandatory).

Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or legal technology platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to spot discrepancies quickly.

Salary/Stipend
