Details of the Job/Internship

Prosperiti is seeking a motivated team member to support its policy and regulatory reform work across Indian states.

Role and Responsibilities

• Gather, compile, and summarise legal and regulatory information and data.
• Analyse laws and subordinate legislation from constitutional, legal, and institutional perspectives.
• Study regulatory practices across states and analyse relevant case law.
• Conduct secondary research using government data, legal documents, and literature.
• Draft policy notes, reports, articles, and reform recommendations.
• Support engagement with government departments and officials on reform initiatives.
• Build and manage relationships with government and non-government stakeholders.
• Assist in implementation of regulatory reform strategies.
• Create clear written and visual knowledge products for diverse audiences.
• Track administrative and political developments and identify emerging policy challenges.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a relevant field from a reputed university.
• 0–4 years of experience in consulting firms, law firms, government bodies, or political consulting firms.
• Experience in regulatory research and analysis of laws, rules, notifications, and circulars.
• Experience liaising with government systems and officials is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of public administration, law, and public economics in India.
• Comfort with data analysis tools, coding, cloud-based work, and new technologies.
• High adaptability, attention to detail, and strong research orientation.

Salary/Stipend
