Details of the Job/Internship

Travelex is hiring a Senior Legal Analyst with experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Providing legal support for business based in Mumbai and Middle east and Turkey business including drafting, reviewing, amending, and negotiating contracts including NDAs, Service Agreements, IT Agreements; Supplier Terms; Lease Agreements; Remittance contracts, Banknotes contract.
• Legal Advice: Assessing and advising legal implications on the business.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and organize legal documents, contracts, and correspondence in an organized and accessible manner. Prepare and maintain legal MIS and maintain legal trackers.
• Compliance Support: Managing Travelex Indias local compliances and regulatory obligations by ensuring compliance with applicable provisions of: - • The Indian Companies Act 2013 FEMA Regulations • Applicable Department of Telecommunications (DOT) regulations. Local (Mumbai) municipal rules and regulations,.
• Group Support: legal support and assistance to the Global Travelex Group Legal team, working with the business and our Legal Teams various geographies on contract review and negotiations, legal research. Assist in preparing litigation report for the group companies.

Eligibility

• Bachelors degree from a recognized university with previous working experience of 3 to 4 years of relevant legal experience preferred. Financial services/ similar prior experience will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in managing Company Secretarial matters and compliances under Companies Act.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
