Details of the Job/Internship
Cardinal Health is hiring a Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel with 8–12 years of experience to join its Legal & Compliance function in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management on commercial, regulatory, employment, and compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Support contract administration and manage iterations of agreement terms.
- Advise business leaders during negotiations using legal and commercial judgment.
- Handle labour and employment law matters in collaboration with HR.
- Promote compliance culture through training and monitoring programs.
- Support investigations related to compliance concerns and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, information security, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee company secretarial, corporate governance, and regulatory obligations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in strategic planning and M&A activities.
- Act as liaison in litigation matters in coordination with internal teams.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- 8–12 years of relevant legal and compliance experience.
- Corporate Secretary certification.
