Details of the Job/Internship

Bathiya Legal is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with experience of 4+ years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end strategy for complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters.
• Draft high-level pleadings, including plaints, written statements, and specialized applications.
• Represent clients directly before various courts, tribunals, and arbitral panels.
• Manage client expectations and provide strategic legal counsel on dispute resolution pathways.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates to ensure high-quality legal deliverables.
• Conduct exhaustive research on evolving commercial laws and judicial precedents.
• Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and client acquisition strategies.
• Coordinate with senior partners to align case strategies with broader firm objectives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in commercial disputes.
• Proven track record in handling litigation, arbitration, and mediation independently.
• Exceptional legal drafting and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in client management and team leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.
• Active involvement or interest in business development within the legal sector.
