Details of the Job/Internship
Epiq is hiring a Senior Legal Associate, LTS (Contract Management) with 5+ years of experience to join its office in Hyderabad. The role involves document review, research, quality control review, escalation management, and creating and validating complex searches.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review documents for relevancy, privilege, and other issues as directed by clients.
- Assist with research on technical and industry-specific issues.
- Participate in QC review and prepare draft questions for client escalations.
- Create, run, and validate complex searches.
- Maintain quality standards as per service level commitments.
Eligibility
- LLB (three- or five-year program).
- LLM (optional) from India or abroad.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of document review and e-discovery/litigation industry.
- Familiarity with litigation management software such as Relativity, Xerox, or DocuMatrix.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of the U.S. judicial system, legal fundamentals, methods, and procedures.
- Strong communication skills with excellent English reading comprehension.
- Analytical problem-solving, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Professional demeanor, integrity, and ability to work as a team player.
