Details of the Job/Internship
Virtual Employee Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Legal Associate (Paralegal) with experience of at least 1 year in U.S. legal work to join its team in Rajarhat, Kolkata, on a hybrid basis. The role involves supporting contract drafting, review, and negotiation, as well as managing litigation workflows for U.S. clients across different time zones.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts using tools such as DocuSign, Contract Works, and Clio.
- Maintaining contract databases and supporting risk mitigation.
- Supporting litigation by conducting legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Bloomberg.
- Managing e-discovery and litigation workflows.
- Coordinating with U.S. clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. regulatory requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
- One to three years of experience as a paralegal with expertise in contract management and litigation support.
- Experience with e-discovery and litigation management tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work across U.S. time zones.
