Capital One is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their office iin Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee third party management lifecycle including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and termination/offboarding.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise to represent Third Party Risk Management interests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for third party risk matters internally and externally.
- Lead transformational projects within Third Party Management, ensuring regulatory and company requirements are met.
- Foster continuous improvement, quality assurance, and risk-aware decision making.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to monitor regulatory changes and emerging risks.
- Own third party management metrics, reporting, and communications.
- Support audits, regulatory examinations, and enterprise risk initiatives.
- Handle vendor onboarding/offboarding, payments, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Ensure proper negotiation processes are followed and act as escalation point for deals.
- Stay informed of business needs, market trends, and industry developments.
Eligibility
- Qualified LLB and Company Secretary (ICSI member).
- 3–4 years post-qualification experience in the legal field.
- Excellent drafting, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in change management and process improvement.
- Preferred: experience in third party management, operational risk, or Indian subsidiaries of US banks/financial institutions.
