Details of the Job/Internship
Cleantech Industry Resources is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector to join their offices in Ahmedabad, Noida, or Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for renewable energy projects.
- Standardize EPC, PPA, and related agreements, and create toolkits for internal teams.
- Provide legal and compliance support for strategic transactions.
- Conduct research on U.S. solar industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Partner with HR, finance, procurement, logistics, and business teams for legal issue resolution.
- Develop and deliver training on legal and compliance topics.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements, policies, and record-keeping.
- Stay updated with renewable energy laws, technologies, and best practices.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent degree (additional knowledge in renewable energy law is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
