Details of the Job/Internship
Cleantech Industry Resources is hiring a Legal Associate – Renewable Energy with experience of 5+ years to join their offices in Ahmedabad, Noida, or Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for complex transactions.
- Standardize EPC, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and other agreements.
- Provide legal and compliance support in strategic transactions.
- Conduct research on regulatory frameworks related to the solar industry, particularly in the US.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, procurement, logistics, and business development teams on legal matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance issues.
- Assist in corporate governance, including drafting policies and preparing board resolutions.
- Stay updated on renewable energy laws, technologies, and industry practices.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
