Details of the Job/Internship
Cleantech Industry Resources (CIR) is hiring a Legal Associate specializing in renewable energy with 5+ years of experience to join their offices in Ahmedabad, Noida, or Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for complex business transactions with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Standardize EPC, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and other commercial agreements and develop toolkits based on negotiation learnings.
- Provide legal and compliance support for strategic business transactions.
- • Conduct research on regulatory and compliance frameworks related to the U.S. solar industry.
- Support cross-functional teams including HR, finance, administration, procurement, logistics, and business development on contractual and legal matters.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on legal and compliance topics within the renewable energy sector.
- Assist in corporate governance compliance, including drafting policies, preparing board resolutions, and maintaining corporate records.
- Stay updated with developments in renewable energy law, technology, and industry best practices.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in continuous learning and new technologies.
- Project management experience is an added advantage.
