Details of the Job/Internship

Epiq Global is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to join the LTS (Contract Management) team at their Hyderabad office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and maintain a repository of various agreements, legal notices, and other documents.
• Assist with relevancy, privilege, and data privacy reviews by analyzing documents and conducting quality control.
• Support the drafting of reports and findings, including tables, exhibits, and charts.
• Analyze contracts for compliance with company policies, government specifications, and commercial requirements.
• Assess contractual terms and conditions, identifying risks and their impact on proposals or procurements.
• Conduct due diligence as per client needs.
• Evaluate and perform review, annotation, abstraction, and summarization of contracts (e.g., NDAs, License Agreements, MSAs, Distribution Agreements).
• Utilize CLM tools and adopt new technologies to enhance contract management.
• Perform legal research and compliance-related work and escalate queries as needed.
• Track and report quality metrics for reviewed work; contribute to best practices and improve processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all organizational and client information.
• Achieve daily targets while working collaboratively as a team member.
• Work on different platforms and adapt to evolving legal technology.

Eligibility

• LLB degree (3- or 5-year program); LLM is optional (from India or abroad).
• Minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Experience in managing legal risks and due diligence.
• Familiarity with corporate law, dispute resolution, and intellectual property is a plus.
