Details of the Job/Internship

INDIALAW LLP is hiring an Associate / Senior Associate IBC & Banking Litigation with experience of 5 to 8 years to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle litigation and advisory matters specifically related to insolvency, banking, and debt recovery.
• Draft and review petitions, replies, applications, written submissions, and legal notices under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
• Represent and assist in legal matters before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
• Appear and manage proceedings before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and various High Courts.
• Advise banks, financial institutions, and insolvency professionals on recovery strategies.
• Conduct extensive legal research and prepare detailed case strategy notes.
• Manage client communication to ensure timely updates on all ongoing legal matters.
• Supervise junior associates and interns and coordinate with senior partners on complex litigation.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
• Professional Registration: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in insolvency and banking litigation for the Senior Associate level.
