Details of the Job/Internship
Juspay is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its legal team in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including SaaS, partnership, and technology service agreements.
- Providing risk-based and business-oriented legal advice to stakeholders.
- Managing contract lifecycle, obligations, and maintaining a centralized contract repository.
- Monitoring fintech and payments regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
- Coordinating with external stakeholders for audits and compliance matters.
- Supporting legal documentation and compliance for international subsidiaries.
- Handling cross-border transactions and related documentation.
- Assisting with implementation of data protection and privacy frameworks.
- Conducting privacy risk assessments and supporting data transfer reviews.
- Providing internal legal support, research, and cross-functional coordination.
Eligibility
- 2–4 years of experience in a reputed law firm or in-house legal team.
- Sound knowledge of contract law, fintech regulations, and data protection laws.
- Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
