Details of the Job/Internship
Mango Mass Media Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Legal Associate in Hyderabad, Telangana with 8+ years of experience in legal roles, preferably in the media, entertainment, or content licensing industry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate content-related agreements, ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage intellectual property rights, legal documentation, and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with external legal teams for negotiations, case preparation, and hearings.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead and train the legal team on contract management and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to IP, broadcasting, and licensing laws while mitigating legal risks.
- Assist in policy development for content rights, privacy, and compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.
- 8+ years of legal experience, preferably in media, entertainment, or content licensing.
- Expertise in intellectual property rights, agreements, and litigation.
- Strong understanding of IP laws, contract laws, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a legal team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with partners, producers, and legal teams.
- Proficiency in legal tools and contract management software.
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and partner meetings.
- High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
