Details of the Job/Internship
Pixis is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology-related contracts, including SaaS, Statement of Work, Software Licensing, service agreements, vendor agreements, and technology partnerships, non-disclosure agreements, product agreements, terms of use, privacy policy, agreements related to technology sales, purchases, and distribution.
- Working with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, global business teams and coordinating with them as and when required.
- Develop and implement strategies for IP protection and enforcement, including filing and defending IP claims.
- Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- To update, manage and supervise CLM for the company as well as maintain and update the playbook.
- Creating new templates/agreements depending on business needs.
- Working on data privacy matters and monitoring changes to the regulatory environment and implementing necessary actions internally and updating company policy based on changes in laws.
- Working with external lawyers as and when required & take up additional projects as needed.
Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree in law from a reputed Law University.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience of working for a multinational Information Technology Company is desirable.
- Ability to independently negotiate and finalize agreements with third parties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise drafting style and attention to detail.
- Ability to think and decide quickly and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
