Details of the Job/Internship
Porter is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate vendor and customer agreements to mitigate contractual risks.
- Collaborate with senior legal staff to maintain up-to-date templates and accurate internal documentation.
- Identify deviations from standard clauses and highlight associated risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Support governance and compliance activities to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Assist in fact-gathering and research for commercial contract disputes and claims.
- Conduct legal research and perform various operational legal tasks as required.
- Maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external legal counsel.
- Identify and implement improvements for internal contract management processes.
Eligibility
- Law Graduate/LL.B. degree.
- 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Foundational expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and a track record of producing accurate documentation.
