Rishit Bhatt & Co. is hiring a Senior Legal Associate – Trade Mark, Design & Copyright with 6–8 years of experience for their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting trademark searches and advising on mark availability.
- Handling trademark filing and prosecution.
- Drafting, strategizing and advising on oppositions and rectification matters.
- Drafting written submissions for opposition hearings.
- Attending show-cause, opposition and rectification hearings before the Trade Marks Registry.
- Filing and prosecuting copyright and design applications.
- Managing client portfolios.
- Supporting team building and supervising junior team members.
Eligibility
- Qualified to practice law in India.
- 6–8 years of experience in trademark prosecution.
- Ability to independently manage filings, hearings, renewals and portfolios.
- Strong understanding of trademark, design and copyright laws.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and supervise juniors.
- Strong client management skills.
- Long-term commitment.
