Details of the Job/Internship

StuCred® is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 2–4 years of relevant experience in NBFC or financial services for its office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, applicable laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and manage legal agreements with customers, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct quarterly audits of vendor and partner agreements and perform due diligence.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and coordinate with external legal counsel.
• Provide legal advisory support to HR, Secretarial, and Finance teams.
• Stay updated on NBFC regulations and industry developments to provide strategic insights.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
• 2–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in NBFC/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and corporate laws.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.

Salary/Stipend
