Details of the Job/Internship
TheAttorneys is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise domestic and international clients on mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, and restructurings.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare diligence reports.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, business transfer agreements, and investment documents.
- Advise on transaction structuring in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist with general corporate advisory matters, including company law, securities law, FEMA, and regulatory issues.
- Collaborate with senior counsel, partners, and external advisors on transaction execution.
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree and Company Secretary qualification from a recognised university.
- Post-qualification experience of 2–3 years in a reputed law firm or corporate practice.
- Strong experience in M&A and private equity transactions, including buy-side and sell-side deals.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
