Details of the Job/Internship

Thriwe is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 6+ years of experience to join their legal team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide strategic legal advice on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance in coordination with internal teams.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including execution, renewal, and tracking of agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Sales, and Finance to resolve issues and support business objectives.
• Provide legal advisory support on corporate governance, company law matters, and labour law compliance.
• Maintain and update the contract tracker and repository to ensure proper classification and accessibility.
• Coordinate with external counsel on specialised matters or disputes when required.

Eligibility

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years of experience in contract law in an in-house legal team or a corporate or commercial law firm.
• Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of legal compliance and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
