Turbostart also runs multiple Centers of Excellence to strengthen its startup ecosystem.
Details of the Job/Internship
Turbostart is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join its office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute PE and VC investment transactions from structuring to closure.
- Draft, review, and negotiate investment and transaction documents.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations for Category I funds.
- Support fund documentation, including PPMs and investor agreements.
- Draft and negotiate commercial and corporate agreements.
- Provide advisory on Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and securities laws.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external counsel, investors, and portfolio companies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in a tier I or tier II law firm or equivalent.
- Mandatory experience in AIF Category I compliance.
- Experience in PE/VC due diligence and transaction support.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal structuring skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervision.
