Virtual Employee Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Legal Associate for a full-time, hybrid role based in Kolkata with partial remote work flexibility. The role involves handling legal documentation, analysing legal matters, advising on regulatory and compliance issues, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing legal disputes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with organisational policies and standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing day-to-day legal documentation.
- Analysing legal matters and providing legal advice on compliance and regulatory issues.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements.
- Addressing and supporting resolution of legal disputes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in law and experience in handling legal issues.
- Experience in legal document preparation and drafting legal agreements.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex legal scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Relevant industry experience in legal advisory roles, if any.
