Details of the Job/Internship
They are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Associate to manage and oversee legal matters related to commercial real estate, lease agreements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in property laws, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution, ensuring that Workshaala operates within a strong legal framework.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, licensing contracts, MoUs, and other commercial agreements.
- Ensure compliance with real estate, corporate, and labor laws, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Handle dispute resolution, litigation matters, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions, leasing, and other transactions.
- Provide legal advisory to internal stakeholders on risk mitigation and regulatory concerns.
- Manage legal documentation, including contract renewals, terminations, and amendments.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations impacting the real estate and flexible office space industry.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate legal, preferably in real estate, leasing, or commercial law.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, lease agreements, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience handling dispute resolution and litigation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal guidance.
