66degrees is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Legal Associates with 5 years of experience to join them at their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance: Advise senior management and other stakeholders on legal matters relating to the company's operations, including contract drafting and review, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and risk management.
- Draft and review legal documents: Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Manage legal disputes: Oversee and manage any legal disputes involving the company, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that the company's operations are in compliance.
- Conduct legal research: Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
- Represent the company in legal matters: Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
Eligibility
- Education: Law degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably in a corporate or commercial law setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
