Sri Sri Tattva is hiring a Senior Legal Consultant with relevant experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents and evaluate contracts.
- Provide legal advice and resolve corporate legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
- Assess business processes to identify potential legal risks.
- Work on domestic and international transactions, agreements, and legal documents related to manufacturing, trade, collaborations, business operations, and financial or securities matters.
- Handle intellectual property matters.
- Manage disputes, ADR matters, and litigation before courts and authorities.
- Coordinate with advocates and consultants on specific cases.
- Conduct legal research as required.
- Attend meetings and negotiations as needed.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM degree.
- Proficiency in legal issues relevant to the FMCG sector.
- Strong skills in legal document preparation, drafting, and contract evaluation.
- Experience in providing legal advice and handling corporate legal matters.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of consumer laws, the Legal Metrology Act, Food Safety and Standards, the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, intellectual property laws, property/rent laws, health and wellness service laws, contract laws, the Companies Act, and other business, commercial, corporate, and compliance laws.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
