Details of the Job/Internship

BDO India is hiring a Senior Legal (Contracts) with 10-15 years of experience to join their office in Dadar, Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and Review: Manage a wide range of documents including SaaS contracts, EULAs, MSAs, JV agreements, and trademark licensing.
• Commercial Negotiation: Handle negotiations with clients, vendors, and third parties for engagement letters, investment banking contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Template Management: Draft contracts from scratch and maintain standard templates for the firm.
• Team Leadership: Build, train, and collaborate with junior resources to manage internal stakeholder requirements.
• Process Excellence: Create SOPs and procedures to streamline the contract management and review functions.
• Specialized Advisory: Provide expert guidance on data protection legislation and insurance requirements.
• Technology Integration: Adapt and integrate AI tools to modernize and improve contract management efficiency.
• Legal Research: Conduct detailed research on applicable laws and relevant legal matters.

Eligibility

• Qualification: LLB is mandatory; CS or LLM is preferred.
• Experience: 10-15 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate legal or contracts management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; specialized contract law courses are a plus.
• Core Competencies: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and high analytical proficiency in English.
