Details of the Job/Internship
Nutanix is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial with 10–15 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic legal advisor supporting commercial growth across the APJ region.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements including NDAs, software licenses, partner and procurement contracts.
- Lead and support complex, high-value commercial transactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely revenue recognition and IP protection.
- Conduct legal training and manage external legal counsel.
- Monitor contract compliance and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance legal templates and operational processes.
Eligibility
- Law degree with 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Prior experience with global technology companies and law firms.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and software licensing models.
- Experience with public sector, banking, enterprise clients, and service vendors preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition and privacy regulations.
- Fluency in English required.
