Details of the Job/Internship
PUMA India is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 15+ years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on commercial transactions and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and legal documents.
- Handle disputes, litigation, and recovery matters.
- Ensure compliance with laws, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on evolving laws and regulations.
- Engage with internal teams and external authorities for legal coordination.
- Maintain KPIs including contract turnaround time, compliance incidents, and legal risk assessments.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed law college.
- Minimum 15 years of legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian law, contract drafting, dispute management, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Prior in-house or business-facing legal role experience preferred.
