Details of the Job/Internship
Goodyear India is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with relevant experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Offer legal counsel and risk management support to Goodyear India’s operations.
- Partner with departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Draft, vet, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Manage litigation strategy and coordinate with external counsel.
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and central regulations.
- Conduct legal training and support for privacy, competition, and anti-corruption laws.
- Monitor legal developments and assess business impact.
- Represent the company before regulators and draft communications to government authorities.
Eligibility
- Legal professional with experience in corporate legal advisory, contracts, litigation, and compliance.
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
