Details of the Job/Internship
Treelife is hiring a Senior Associate – Contracts with 6–10 years of PQE to join their legal department in BKC, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, and negotiate mid-complexity contracts including SAAS, MSA, SOWs, amendments, and change orders.
- Provide strategic legal advice and pre-litigation counsel to clients.
- Manage complete contract lifecycle, including renewals, renegotiations, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws (GDPR, COPPA, etc.).
- Implement robust contract management systems and controls.
- Lead and execute client projects, collaborating directly with founders and investors.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an in-house legal role.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
