Refex Group is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Contracts with over 12 years of relevant legal experience in the Solar/Wind OEM sector to join their Wind vertical in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreements, O&M agreements, and Commissioning support contracts.
- Structure commercial terms, warranties, and liquidated damages provisions while mitigating interface risks.
- Support project management teams during construction and commissioning with real-time legal advice.
- Manage regulatory compliance, permits, and dispute resolution.
- Negotiate supplier and procurement contracts for turbines, logistics, and services.
- Advise senior management on legal risk exposure and governance matters.
- Develop standardized contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, SEBI regulations, and energy sector regulations.
- Handle cross-border transactions and related IP or confidentiality matters.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a reputed university.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant legal experience in Solar/Wind OEMs.
