Details of the Job/Internship

Black Suit™ is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Litigation & Arbitration with 7+ years of experience to join their team in New Delhi (West). 

Role and Responsibilities

• Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
  • Handle civil, commercial, and regulatory disputes.
  • Draft and review pleadings; represent the company in courts and before regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on active litigation.
• Arbitration:
  • Oversee domestic and international arbitration matters.
  • Draft arbitration clauses and manage proceedings end-to-end.
• In-House Legal Advisory:
  • Advise internal teams on legal risk, compliance, and contract review (SLAs, NDAs, MoUs).
  • Liaise with regulators and ensure cross-jurisdictional compliance.
• Strategic & Risk Advisory:
  • Counsel senior leadership on legal strategy and risk.
  • Develop internal legal policies and lead legal training sessions.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a reputed law school (LL.M. preferred).
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience (mix of law firm and in-house is ideal).
• Deep expertise in litigation, arbitration, and corporate law.
• Ability to independently manage high-impact disputes.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary/Stipend
