Details of the Job/Internship

MultiExchange UAB is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Regulatory & Commercial (Remote). The ideal candidate is an APAC-qualified lawyer with 2–7 years of PQE, gained at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on global commercial issues including licensing, IP, token listings, NDAs, brokerage, and advertising agreements.
• Support ongoing regulatory and compliance matters.
• Lead negotiations with commercial parties and manage associated risks.
• Oversee external counsel engagements and fee approvals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure legal risks are managed and mitigated.
• Optional support on disputes and employment law depending on interest.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• 2–7 years PQE in law firm or in-house legal team.
• Experience managing commercial contracts end-to-end.
• Start-up or fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of crypto products and regulatory landscape is a plus.
• Excellent drafting and legal interpretation skills.
• Fluent in English and business proficient in Mandarin (mandatory).
