Details of the Job/Internship
Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – MEIA with 7+ years of experience to join their legal team in India, preferably based in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, or Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on strategic matters and public entity compliance in India.
- Manage, draft, review, and negotiate contracts across MEIA regions.
- Advise stakeholders on commercial law, M&A, corporate law, and data privacy.
- Support internal teams on legal compliance and business objectives.
- Collaborate on regulatory projects and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Supervise external counsel and manage litigation matters.
- Assist with procurement, intercompany, and secretarial matters.
- Engage with Ingersoll Rand’s global legal team.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- Qualified to practice law in India.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial legal matters.
- Experience with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Strong communication, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
- In-house legal experience preferred.
